As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

GUIDE FOR AUTHOR

  1. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
  • The manuscript is a scientific paper of research or deep review related to oil palm.
  • Manuscripts submitted to the editorial board shall be unpublished manuscripts and not in the process of publishing in other publications.
  • The script is typed in two spaces using Arial font size 12, maximum 20 pages.
  • The manuscript is submit to http://jurnalkelapasawit.iopri.org
  • For the first writing in the manuscript, the name of the oil palm was written complete including the name of the inventor (Elaeisguineensis), then only E. guineensis.
  • The order in the manuscript is as follows: TITLE, AUTHOR NAME, LETTER ADDRESS / EMAIL AUTHOR, ABSTRACT, KEY WORDS, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULT AND DISCUSSION, CONCLUSIONS, ACKNOWLEDGMENTS (if any), and REFERENCES.
  • The Editorial Board reserves the right to change and refine the contents of the manuscript so long as it does not alter the substance of the contents of the article. Unpublished script will be returned to the author

 

  1. TITLE
  • The title of the manuscript should describe the basic content of the writing in a concise and clear manner, written in Indonesian and English

 

  1. AUTHOR'S NAME
  • The author's name is written without a title.

 

  1. LETTER/E-MAIL ADDRESS
  • University letter address/workplace institution written complete for correspondence, followed by email address.
  • If the author is more than one, the mail/email address is written in the order of footnotes on each author.

 

  1. ABSTRACT
  • Abstract is the essence of writing that explains briefly about background, purpose, method, result, and conclusion.
  • The abstract is written in one paragraph containing a maximum of 250 words and a minimum of 100 words.
  • Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English in separate paragraphs.

 

  1. KEY WORDS
  • Keywords are written in Indonesian and in English, consisting of at least 3 words.

 

  1. TABLE/IMAGE
  • Table titles are written above related tables and numbered.
  • The title of the image is written below the corresponding picture and given the sequence number.
  • Title and description of table/picture written in Indonesian and English.

 

  1. WRITING REFERENCES
  • References in the manuscript written the author's name and year of publication according to References.
  • The minimum reference amount of 10 pieces and at least 80% of the total reference amount is the article published in the last 10 (ten) years from the publication year of Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit.

 

  1. BIBLIOGRAPHY
  • The bibliography is alphabetical.
  • All authors' names of a writing must be listed, not allowed to include et al.
  • Initials are for initial names only, family names are written complete.
  • After the first author, the next author's name on an article is written by the initial name followed by the name of the family.
  • The publishing year is written without brackets.
