Call for Papers - Vol 34 No. 3 (2026)

Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (Indonesian Journal of Oil Palm Research) invites researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit manuscripts for Volume 34, Number 3 (2026).

 

We welcome original research articles and reviews on all aspects of the oil palm — from breeding, agronomy, precision agriculture, and mill engineering to palm oil processing, bioenergy, socio-economics, and sustainability.

 

Manuscripts may be submitted in Indonesian or English through our Open Journal Systems at jurnalkelapasawit.iopri.org. Submission deadline October 30th 2026. Please follow the Author Guidelines and use the official manuscript template.

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. Accepted articles are open access and assigned a DOI

 

Call for Reviewers - Join the JPKS Reviewer Panel

Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit (Indonesian Journal of Oil Palm Research) invites qualified researchers and academics to join its panel of peer reviewers. We particularly welcome applications from international scholars to broaden the geographic and scientific diversity of our review process.

 

We are seeking reviewers with expertise in any area of oil palm research, including breeding and biotechnology, agronomy and crop protection, precision agriculture, mill engineering, palm oil processing and oleochemistry, bioenergy, socio-economics, and sustainability.

 

Prospective reviewers are expected to hold a doctoral degree (or equivalent research experience) and to have a record of publication in their field. Reviewers receive recognition for their contribution and a formal reviewer certificate.

New Manuscript Templates Now Available

Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit has released new official manuscript templates, now available on the journal menu.

Two templates are provided: a Submission Template — to be used when preparing and submitting a new manuscript — and a Publication Template — used for the final, accepted article in the journal's published layout.

Authors are required to use the Submission Template when submitting their manuscript to ensure compliance with the journal's format.
