Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit takes plagiarism very seriously and is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity. We consider plagiarism to be the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work.
Originality:
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit must be original works that have not been published or are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. This includes both full-length articles and any part of the manuscript, such as figures, tables, and data.
Plagiarism Detection:
To ensure originality, all submitted manuscripts are screened using Crossref Similarity Check, Turnitin, and Grammarly. This software compares the submitted text against a vast database of published works and identifies any potential instances of plagiarism.
Unacceptable Similarity:
Jurnal Penelitian Kelapa Sawit has a strict policy against plagiarism. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be immediately investigated. If plagiarism is confirmed, the manuscript will be rejected. The Editorial Board will ensure that every published article has a similarity score below 20%
Consequences of Plagiarism:
Authors found to have engaged in plagiarism may face the following consequences:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript
- Notification of the authors' institution
- Retraction of published articles, if plagiarism is discovered after publication
Ethical Writing Practices:
To avoid plagiarism, authors should:
- Properly cite and quote all sources used in their work
- Paraphrase ideas and information in their own words, while still providing appropriate citations
- Obtain permission to reuse any copyrighted material
